RFSOLUTION NO. 1323 WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris, that in the plat of the Mayer Addition to the City of Paris a street designated West Austin Street, which is encompassed in part of Lots 12, 13, 17 and 18 of the Mayer Addition and re-platted in the name of Greenbriar Addition to the City of Paris, said street beginning at the East Boundary Line of Block A of the Greenbriar Addition in a Westerly direction approximately 340 feet to the West Boun dary Line of Block B of said Addition, was dedicated in the Mayer Addition Plat; and, WHERFAS, it has been called to the attention of the City Council of the City of Paris that that portion of West Austin Street heretofore described has not been used as a street and that there is a common property owner on each side of the street so described, who does not wish to use it as a street; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris has no intention of opening, using or maintaining that portion of West Austin Street so de- scribed, because there is no one to be served by said street and no necessity exists therefor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris, R. A. Kennedy, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a quit claim deed to H. H. L. Homes, Inc., the present owner of the Greenbriar Addition to the City of Paris, describing West Austin Street, from the East Boundary Line of Block A of the Greenbriar Addition, in a Westerly direction approximately 340 feet to the West Boundary Line of Block B, said street being approximately 40 feet in width, reserving therein a utility easement in, on and under the property so described.
