1269 RES CHARTER OF COP PROVIDES FOR A CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT TO MAKE ANNUAL AUDIT

RESOLUTION NO. 1269 WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Paris provides that the City of Paris shall select a certified public accountant to make an annual audit of the books of the C.ity of Paris for the year end.ing June 30, 1968, at a time not sooner than sixty days prior to June 30th each year nor less than th.irty days; and, WHEREAS, no appointment has been made for such cert.ified public accountant; and, WHEREAS, McClanahan & Holmes, certified public accountants in the C.ity of Paris, have made application therefor; NOw, THERE- FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That McClanahan & Holmes, certified public accountants, are hereby appointed and authorized to make the annual audit of the City of Paris for the year ending June 30, 1968, as provided by the Charter of the City of Paris.
