(4) IN WARD FOUR (4) A TOTAL OF 57 VOTES W,ERE CAST AS FOLLOWS: <br />For Councilman From Ward One: <br />For Councilman From Ward Two: <br />For Councilman From Ward Three: <br />For Councilman From Ward Four: <br />R. A.. (Bob) Kennedy, 57 <br />votes; <br />write-in Candidates, <br />votes. <br />Dick Wright, 57 votes; <br />Write-in Candidates, <br />votes. <br />John Norton, 57 votes; <br />Write-in Candidates, <br />votes. <br />Pete Parham, 57 votes; <br />Write-in Candidates, <br />votes. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, from the above and foregoing canvass of the re- <br />turns of the votes in the four (4) respective voting boxes in such <br />election, it .is declared and determined that R. A. (Bob) Kennedy is the <br />person receiving the highest number of votes of the votes cast at such <br />election and a majoxity of the votes cast at such election for Councilman <br />From Ward One (1), and was therefore elected to serve as Councilman From <br />Ward One (1) and as a member of the City Council of the City of Paris <br />for the ensuing two (2) years; that Dick Wright is the person receiving <br />the highest number of votes and the majority of the votes cast at such <br />election for Councilman From Ward Two (2), and was therefore elected to <br />serve as Councilman From Ward Two (2) and as a member of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years; that John <br />Norton is the person receiving the highest number of votes and the ma- <br />jority of the votes cast at such election for Councilman From Ward <br />Three (3), and was therefore elected to serve as Councilman From Ward <br />Three (3) and as a member of the City Council of the City of Paris for <br />the ensuing two (2) years; and that Pete Parham is the person receiving <br />the highest number of votes and the majority of the votes cast at such <br />election for Councilman From Ward Four (4), and was therefore elected <br />to serve as Councilman From ward Four (4) and as a member of the City <br />Council of the City of Paris for the ensuing two (2) years. <br />Passed and adopted by the unanimous vote of the City Council of <br />the City of Paris, in special session convened, pursuant to the di- <br />rections of the City Charter of the City of Paris, on this the lOth <br />day of April, A.
