Section 3, The Fresiding Judge of the respective voting <br />boxes shall designate and appoint such additional, competent and <br />qualified clerks for such respective polling places and voting <br />boxes as may be required, if any, for the efficient condutt of <br />said election. <br />Section 4. Such election shall be held in accordance with <br />the laws of the State of Texas governing general and municipal <br />elections, insofar as the same may be applicable, and with the <br />provisions of the City Charter and Ordinances of the City of Paris. <br />Section 5. The Chief of Police of the City of Paris is hereby <br />directedand instructed to post a properly executed Notice of Elec«» <br />tion pursuant to this order for election, signed by the Mayor of <br />the City of Paris, at each of the polling places designated above, <br />which said notices of election shall by him be posted not less than <br />thirty (30) days prior to said election; further, a prnperly exe- <br />cuted copy of such Notice of Ele ction shall be published one time <br />in the Paris News, the official newspaper of the City of P'aris and <br />a newspaper of general circulation in said City, which notice shall <br />be published not less than twenty (20) days before said election. <br />Section 6. The pay of the judges and clerks of said election <br />is hereby authorized and established as follows: $12,50 per day <br />for each judge and clerk; the election judge who delivers the re- <br />turns of the said election immediately after the votes have been <br />counted to the proper office shall be paid an additional sum of <br />$5.00 for that service, provided also, he shall make return of all <br />election supplies not used when he makes returns of such election. <br />Passed and adopted by the City Conncil of the City of Faris <br />in regular meeting at the City Hall of said City this 12th day of <br />February, A.
