RESOLUTION NO, 1254 . W-iEREAS, there was filed in the Office of the City Clerk on December 8, 1967, the petition of Jim A. Miles, to change from an Office classification to a General Retail classification, a tract of land fronting 162 feet on I.ramar Avenue and extending North from I:.amar Avenue to East Houston Street, and being immediately TnTest of 12th Street, N. E,, and also the petition of Florence Johnson, et al, to change from a MF..1 classification to a-General Retail classifica tion, property extending West on Y.amar Avenue and East Houston Str2et to the E. B. P..ine of a tract belongirag to Charlie Hill; and, WHEREAS, the same was referred to the Planning and 'Zoning Commission, and a hearing was had thereon in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance and the laws of Texas, on the 2nd day of January, A. D., 1968, at which meeting no recommendation was made by the Planning and Zoning Commission to the City Council, either for the petition for an amendment to the Zoning Qrdinance or against the petition fox an amendment to the Zoning Qrdinance; and, WHEREAS, the City Council feels that the same should be referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission again, for the pur- pose of making a definite recommenda-fmn, either for or against the granting of the petition; NC7W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That said petition is hereby re-referred to the Flanning and Zon- ing Commission for the purpose of making a definite recommendation, either for the change in the Zoraing O:rdinance or against the change in the Zoning Ordinanceo F'assed and adopted this 8th day of January, A.
