RESOLUTION NO. 1246 . <br />LVHEREAS, Sears Roebuck & Company has filed with the City <br />Council its application for a change in the Zoning Ordinance,undeY <br />Ordinance No, 1710, from a Multiple Family Dwelling District No, 1 <br />to a Yarking District, the following described property: <br />Being a part of the L.arkin Rattan Survey, and on the <br />South side of Lamar Avenue, within the corporate limits <br />of the City of Paris, described by metes and bounds as <br />follows in accordance with a survey made by R. G. Berry, <br />Registered Public Surveyor, on June 13, 1957. <br />Beginning at a stake in the SB line of Lamar Avenue <br />281 feet West of its intersection with the WB line of <br />12th Street S. Eo, formerly Webb or 30th Street; <br />Thence South 200 feet a stake; <br />Thence West 60 feet a stake; <br />Thence North 200 feet, a stake in the SB line of <br />Lamar Avenue9 <br />Thence East with the SB line of L.amar Avenue 60 <br />feet to the place of beginning. <br />AND WHEREAS, the same was presented to the City Council, and <br />the City Council referred the same to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, and the same was heard by the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission on December 5, 1967; and, <br />WHEREAS, due to four members of the P'lanning and Zoning <br />Commission being absent and three members of the Planning and 2on- <br />ing Commission having disqualified, that left only the Chairman <br />and one other member, and they were unable to make any recommenda- <br />tion to the City Council; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />That said application be returned to the Planning-and Zoning <br />Commission for a future meeting with hopes that there will be <br />sufficient members present that are not disqualified to make a <br />definite recommendation to the City Council. <br />P'assed and adopted this 11th day of December, A.
