RESOLUTION NO. 1224 <br />WHEREAS, the Charter of the City of Paris provides that the <br />City of Paris shall select a certified public accountant to make <br />an annual audit of the books of the City of Paris for the year <br />ending June 30, 1967, at a time not sooner than sixty days prior <br />to June 30th each year nor less than thirty days; and, <br />WHEREAS, no appointment has been made for such certified <br />public accountant; and, <br />WHEREAS, McClanahan & Holmes, certified public accountants in <br />the City of Paris, have made application therefor; NQW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS, That McClanahan & Holmes, cettified public accountants, <br />are hereby appointed and authorized to make the annual audit of <br />the City of Paris for the year ending June 30, 1967, as provided <br />by the Charter of the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 8th day of May, A.D., 1967, <br />~ <br />E Mayor <br />t <br />`o <br />ATTEST: <br />r <br />C~ <br />- City Clerk <br />APPRO?JED AS TO FORM: <br />, <br />,1' <br />ity Attorney <br />/ <br />
