As specified in Divisions 00 and 01 apply to all work in this Section.. <br /> <br /> 1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK: <br /> <br /> Provision of demolition work of materials and components to be discarded and <br /> dismantlement of materials and components which are to be retained for reuse, as <br /> indicated on drawings or as required for integration of new materials. <br /> <br /> 1. Remove concrete sidewalk/walkway at perimeter of building, <br /> 2. Remove all non-historic wood shelving, cabinetr3, and miscellaneous <br /> casework, <br /> 3. Remove all piping and cap outside wall at 3" above grade, <br /> 4. Remove all temporary plywood, <br /> 5. Remove all non-repairable plaster and lath on interior walls, <br /> 6. Salvage all doors and windows for restoration and reuse, <br /> 7. Salvage of existing roofing material is NIC, <br /> 8. Removal of all roof substrate materials between file and wood decking is <br /> NIC, <br /> 9. Remove all electrical conduit, wires, boxes, and service to building. <br /> <br /> 1.03 GENERAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> A. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor(s) to examine the project site and <br /> determine for himself the existing conditions. All work in this section shall be <br /> coordinated with affected work in other Sections. <br /> <br /> B. Obvious conditions which exist on the site shall be accepted as part of the work, <br /> even though they may not be clearly indicated on the drawings and/or <br /> described herein, or may vary there from. <br /> <br /> C. All debris of any kind accumulated from the work of this Section shall be disposed <br /> off site. <br /> <br /> D. Burning of any debris on-site will not be permitted. <br /> <br /> E. Permits, Notice, Etc.: <br /> <br /> 1. The Contractor(s) shall procure and pay for all necessary permits or <br /> certificates that may be required in connection with this work. <br /> <br /> 2. The Contractor(s) shall serve proper notice and consult with the Owner's <br /> Construction Manager regarding any temporary disconnection of <br /> Section 02050 <br /> Page 1-4 <br /> <br /> <br />
