Work shall be designed to support normally imposed loads and conform to <br /> AISC requirements. <br /> <br /> 2. Work shall be designed and installed to yield the least amount of visible impact <br /> on historic materials. <br /> <br /> C. Conflicting Requirements: In the event of conflict between pertinent codes and <br /> regulations and the requirements of the referenced standards or the PROJECT <br /> MANUAL, the provision of the more stringent shall govern. <br /> <br />1.04 SUBMITI~ALS <br /> <br /> A. Product Data: Submit manufacturers specifications, anchor details and installation <br /> instructions for products used in miscellaneous metal fabrications, including paint <br /> products and grout. <br /> <br /> B. Shop Drawings: Submit shop drawings for fabrication and erection of miscellaneous <br /> metal fabrications. Include plans, elevations, and details of sections and <br /> connections. Show anchorage and accessory items. <br /> <br /> 1. Where materials or fabrications are indicated to comply with certain <br /> requirements for design loading include structural computations, material <br /> properties and other information needed for structural analysis. <br /> <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br /> <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br /> <br />All materials are specified to be non-proprietary..items and de~'med as "or approved equal", <br />items listed are examples to be pursued with a mmmmm of two suppliers. The approved equals <br />shall be submitted to the Architect for written approval. See Section 01600 Substitutions. <br /> <br /> A. Miscellaneous Steel Bars, Rods and Shapes: ASTM A 108, A 501, A 663 or A <br /> 675 as applicable. Steel: New, straight and flue manufactured by reputable mills <br /> according to ASTM A 283 and 36. <br /> <br /> B. Galvanized Steel Sheets: ASTM A 526, with 1.25 oz. commercial galvanizing <br /> complying to ASTM A 525. <br /> <br /> C. Wire: ASTM A 475, zinc coated steel. <br /> <br /> D. Bolts, Nuts and Washers: ASTM A 307 Grade A. High strength bolts: ASTM <br /> A 325. Hot-dip galvanize all items in accordance with ASTM A 153. <br /> <br /> E. Expansion Shields: Fed. Spec. FF-S-325. <br /> <br /> F. Toggle Bolts: Fed. Spec. FF-B-588C tumble-wing type of class, style and type as <br /> required; hot-dip galvanized in accordance with ASTM A 153, cadmium plated, or <br /> otherwise treated for corrosion resistance. <br /> <br /> Section 05500 <br /> Page 2-5 <br /> <br /> <br />
