RESOLUTION NO, 1217 . WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris didg by Resolution No. 471, passed on March 27, 1950, authorize the Mayor of the City of Paris to execute with the Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, a certain con- tract, providing for the erecting of 200 Low-Rent Public Housing Units under Program Reservation No. TEX-48-A, dated Jarazary 13, 1950; and, WHEREAS, said City of Paris entered into said contract with the Housing Authority of the City of Parisa Texas; and, WHEREAS, Section 1(a) provides for a project of 200 units of Iow'-rent housing; and, WHEREAS9 it has been caJled to the attention of the City of Paris that sixteen (16) of the units in the George Wright Homes are large units, and the buildings contain two units in each building8 and that the demand is at present much heavier for sma].l efficiency unitsa and the buildings are so arranged that there can be one efficiency unit added without adding any new structure in each of the said buildingsa making a total additional units of eight (8) in the same structures as exist at present; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be9 and he is hereby authorized to enter into an amended contract to Section l(a) of said agreementa providing for eight (8) additional efficiency units to be built in the existing structures located in the George Wright Homes.
