RESOLUTION NO. 1211 . <br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris did9 on the 17th day of October9 19669 <br />advertise the sale of 43 741 square feet of land9 described as foU.ows: <br />Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texass <br />within the corporate limits of the City of Parisi and being a <br />portion of the tract conveyed the City of Paris by the A. A. <br />Lister Estate, by deed dated 5eptember 6, 1966s recorded in <br />Book 448a Page 413, Lamar County Deed Recordss and described <br />as foUows: <br />BEGINNING at the NWC of said A.A. Lister Estate tract <br />shown as Lot 39 Block 56, City of Paris Tax Map; <br />THENCE East along the NBL of said Lot 3 a distance of <br />72.5 feet to the NEC of said Lot 3, same being the NWC of <br />Lot 2. Block 56, formerly owned by Hubert C. Reaves; <br />THENCE South along the EBL of said Lot 3 a distance of <br />50.4 feet to aniron pin in the North ROW line of the Pine Bluff <br />to Graham Street opening; <br />THENGE in a Southwesterly direction along the North ROW <br />line of the Pine Bluff to Graham Street opening a distance of <br />77.8 feet to an iron pin; said iron pin being in the WBL of said <br />Lot 3; <br />THENCE North along the WBL of said Lot 3 a distance of <br />82. 1 feet to the place of beginning and containing 4! 741 square <br />feet. <br />and requested sealed bids on the part of any interested purchasers; ands <br />WHEREASy Gene Rader and wife, Dorothy Raders bid the sum of <br />$3, 116.889 which was the highest and best bid for said property9 and is a <br />fair bid for said property; NOWs THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,, <br />That said bid is declared to be the highest and best bid for the above de- <br />scribed property9 and H. C.
