RESOLUTION NO. 1210 0 WHEREAS9 the City of Paris did, on the 17th day of October, 1966, advertise the sale of 2, 084 square feet of lands described as follows: Situated in the County of Lamar and State of Texas, within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, and being a portion of the tract conveyed the City of Paris by Hubert C. Reaves and wife, by deed dated September 6: 1966, recorded in Book 447a Page 474a Lamar County Deed Recordsa and described as follows: BEGINNING at the NWC of the Hubert C. Reaves tract to the City of Paris and shown as Lot 29 Block 56s Gity of Paris Tax Map; THENCE East along the NBL of said Reaves Lot 2s a distance of 53.5 feet to the NEC of said Lot 2; THENCE South along the EBL of said Lot 2. a distance of 27.5 feet to an iron pin in the said EBL and the North ROW line of Pine Blu.ff to Graham Street opening; THENGE in a Southwesterly direction along the North ROW line of Pine Bluff to Graham Street opening a distance of 57.7 feet to an iron pin in the WBL of said Lot 2; THENCE North along the WBL of said Lot 2 a distance of 50.4 feet to the place of beginning and containing 2, 084 sq. feet. and requested sealed bids on the part of any interested purchasers; and3 WHEREASy Hubert C. Reaves and wife, Pearlie E. Reaves, bid the sum of $2s 091. 00 for such property; and, WHEREASa the same was the highest and best bid and is a fair bid; NOWs THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That said bid is declared to be the highest and best bid for the above de- scribed property, and H. C. Kennemer, City Manager9 is hereby authorized to execute a good and sufficient deed to Hubert C. Reaves and wife, Pearlie E. Reaves, in consideration of the payment of $2, 091, 00.
