RESOLUTION NO. 1204 . WHEREAS, the City of Paris is engaged in procuring right of way for the extension of Pine Bluff 5treet, from North Main Street to Graham Street, and is now in the process of purchasing certain properties for such right of way; and= WHEREAS, the City of Paris has been furnished with a chart and map showing all of the properties to be procured for right of way purposes, and which tracts are numbered thereon; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris has purchased one Tract No. 27 from A. F. Bryan and one Tract No. 26 from Jack Armstrong and wifep Wilma Armstrong; and, WHEREAS, the City of Paris is interested in purchasing a portion of the tract belonging to Vester E. Jacksons being Tract No. 28; and, WHEREAS, the property of Vester E. Jackson, A. F. Bryan, and Jack and Wilma Armstrong, has been appraised at 55~ per square foot; and, WHEREAS, certain portions of the A. F. Bryan and Jack and Wilma Armstrong tracts lie North of the curb line of the proposed street; and, WHEREASp the Cityof Paris has determined that it is to its advantage to exchange that portion of the A. F. Bryan and Jack and Wilma Armstrong tracts with Vester E. Jacksong on a 55~ per square foot basis, and to ac- quire from Vester E. Jacksona in exchange therefor, the necessary amount of the tract of Jacksonts, on the same 55~ per square foot basis; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That H. C. Kennemer, City Manager, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to convey to Vester E. Jackson a portion of the A. F. Bryan and Jack and Wilma Armstrong tracts, lying North of the proposed extension, in exchange of the required amount of the Vester E. Jackson tract, and to pay therefor the sum of 5 5~ per square foot. _ Passed and adopted this 12th day of September? A.
