RESOLUTION NO. 1201 . <br />WHEREAS, at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris, Texas, <br />on the 12th day of September, 1966, there was held in the City of Paris, <br />Texas, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Paris9 Texas, at <br />which time a quorum of said City Council was presenta to-wit: <br />Richard W. Nafe, E. W. Booth, R.A. Kennedy9 James R. Moore, JohbA W. <br />Nortons and Richard P. Wright; andp <br />WHEREASs during said meeting9 a proposed contract between the Gity <br />of Paris9 Texas, and Texas Power & Light Company, providing for a supply <br />of electric power and energy to be used by the City of Paris9 Texas, for a <br />period of ten (10) years, beginning October l. 1966m was presented, and on <br />motion duly mades seconded and carried9 was ordered marked for identifica- <br />tion and filed in the records of the City; and, <br />WHEREAS, the following resolution was offered by Councilman <br />Moore and duly seconded by Councilman Wxight , <br />the same being duly adopted by the unanimous vote of all councilmen pre- <br />sents to -wit: Richard W. Nafe, E. W. Booths R. A, Kennedy, James R. <br />Moore, John W. Nortonp and Richard P. Wright; ~ <br />NOWt THEREFOREf BE IT RESOLVED that Richard W. Nafe, Mayor <br />of the City of Paris, Texas, be, and he is hereby authorized and empowered <br />to make a contract in the name and in behalf of the City of Paris, Texas,, <br />with Texas Power & Light Companyp for a term of ten (10) yearss beginning <br />October l, 1966, providing for a supply of electric power and energy to be <br />used by the City of Paris, Texas, for ten (10) years.
