DRAFT BUDGETX2001-2002\Budget Amendment Hearing Resolution-Addl September 5, 2001 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO THE CITY MANAGER'S PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Manager of the City of Paris has furnished to the City Council, at special session convened on the 20th day of August, 2001, the City Manager's proposed budget as directed by Section 45 of the Charter; and, WHEREAS, the City Manager did file the proposed budget with the City Clerk of the City of Paris the 20th day of August, 2001, in accordance with Vernon's Texas Codes Annotated, Local Government Code, Section 102.005(a); and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, at Special Council Meetings held on August 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27,28, and 30, amend various line items of said proposed budget; and, WHEREAS, it is deemed appropriate that the City Manger's proposed budget be amended further and that a public hearing on said additional amendments be held; and, WHEREAS, an appropriate time for said public hearing is found to be the __ September, 2001, at 6:00 p.m.; NOW, THEREFORE, day of BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That a public hearing is called for the __ day of September, 2001, at 6:00 p.m. in the Paris Junior College Applied Technology Building, Room 1016, 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas, for the purpose of hearing written and oral comments from the citizens of the City of Paris concerning the proposed additional amendments to the City Manager's proposed annual budget for fiscal year beginning October 1, 2001, and ending September 30, 2002; and,
