BEING a strip of land twenty (20) feet in width located in the <br />Thomas Askin 5urvey, Lamar County, Texas, and being over, under <br />and across the tract of land conveyed to William Dn Robinson by a <br />Contract of 5ale and Purchase as recorded in Volume 408, Page 236 <br />of the D-aed Records of Lamar County, Texas; said twenty foot ease- <br />ment being 15 feet left of and 5 feet right of the following described line: <br />BEGINN.ING at a point in the southern boundary line of said <br />tract of land; said point being located in an easterly direction a distance <br />of 15 feet from the most southerly southwest corner of said tract of land; <br />THENCE N 1° 02= Ea distance of 13% 392.4 feet, more or less, <br />to a point; <br />THENCE N?_° 02= E a distance of 1, 000 feet to a point; <br />THEiVCE N 4° 42'1 E a distance of 547 feet to a point; <br />THEiVCE N 3° 14; E a distance of 2, 053 feet to a point; <br />THFNCE iV 27° 14' E a distance of 191. 5 feet, more or less, <br />to a point in the northern boundary line of said tract of land; said <br />point being located in an easterly direction a distance of 191. 5 feet, <br />more or less, from the most northerly northwest corner of said tract <br />of land. <br />Containing 2. 38 acres of Iand. <br />Also a construction easement for the purpose of laying a thirty <br />inch (3011) water line, which shall be thirty-five feet (35=) wide from the <br />left side of the above 20 foot easeme.nt and forty-five feet (45t') from the <br />right side of the above 20 foot easementa consisting of 9.52 acres of land. <br />The parties owning an interest in and to the above described property are <br />as follows: <br />1. The Veterans Land Board, operating under the General Land <br />Office of the State of Texas, whose Cummissioner is Jerry <br />Sadler, wnose office is located in the General Land O:`_fice, <br />Archives and Library Bizilding., Austin, Texas, in whose <br />name the property now stands. <br />2, W;Aliam D. Robinson, R. F.D. #3, Box 343, Arlington, Texas, <br />who has a contract of purchase with the Veterans Land Board, <br />and at the tim-e this contract is p3id out will be the owner of the <br />property. That the property is now inthe possession of Wi]liam <br />D. Robinson. <br />That you are authorized to offer to the Veterans Land Board and/or Wil.l.iam <br />D. Robinson, the sum of $238.00 for the 20 foot permanent easement, and the <br />sum of $238. 00 for the working easement. The above amounts being figured on <br />the basis of $100. 00 per acre for the permanent 20 foot easement and $25. 00 per <br />acre for the 80 foot working agreemE:nt easement. <br />Section 8. That upon acceptance of the offer, the City Dzrector of Finance <br />is authorized and directed to pay the amounts set forth hereina which shall be <br />paid out of the Waterworks Construction Fund. <br />Section 9. That this resolution shall take effect from and after its <br />passage9 as in the Charter in such cases is made andprovided. <br />
