RESOLUTION NQ. 1178 . <br />WHEt2EA52 the City of Paris has heretofore determined to lay a 30" Raw <br />Water Transmassion Line from the Pat Mayse Dam to the Lake Crook Water <br />Facilities of the City of Paris; and, <br />WHEREAS, Forrest and Cotton,, Consulting Engineers, of Dallas, Texas, <br />have been employed to handle the Consultant Engineersl duties in connection <br />therewith, and have prepared Contract No.. 821-66; and, <br />WHEREAS, notice of receipt of bids has been properly published as pro- <br />vided by the Charter, and bids were received for the construction of said raw <br />water transmission line, at 7:00 o'clock P. M, s February 28, 1966; and, <br />W'cIE~.~.EAS, the Engineering F:rm of Forrest and Cutton has recommended <br />that the E1m Fork Construction Company9 Inc., of Dallas, Texas, whose bid <br />was in the amount of $561, 367.00, is the lowest and best bid; NOW, THEREF'ORE„ <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE C~TY COUNCIL QF Ti-E CITY OF PARIS, <br />TEXAS9 That the bid of Elm Fork Construction Company, Inc.= of Dallas, Texas, <br />which is in the amount of $561, 367. 00, be, and the same is hereby declared the <br />lowest and best bid, and the Mayor of the City of Paris, V. E.
