1141 RES CITY COUNCIL ADOPTED COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT TO ZONING ORD

RESOLUTION NO. 1141 WHER EAS, the City Council of the City of Parisa Texasa has re- cently adopted a comprehensive amendment to the zoning ordinances of the City of Parisa being Ordinance No. 1710, and has also adopted a land use map to accompany said zoning ordinance; and, WHEREAS, several areas have been found on the land use map and certain properties, which have heretofore been zoned for commercial useage, were changed without such being intended. That the properties are as follows: On the North Side of Highway 82 or Lamar Avenue, from 25th Street, N.E. to 27th Street, N.E., the depth of the re- spective fro:ntage. That said property was in error zoned as General Retail under the recently adopted land use map, whereas it should have been zoned Commercial. That the above property is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a hearing to determine their recommendations on the above area and whether or not the same be changed to a Commercial classification. That the aforesaid hearing shall be had without payment of the fee usually required to amend the zoning ordinance, an d a public hearing before the City Council of the City of Paris is hereby fixed upon said property for 7:00 o'clock P. M., in the Council Rooma in the City Hall, on the 12th day of July, A.D., 1965; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That the aforesaid zoning consideratio:n be, an d the same is hereby referred to the Planning and Zoning Commission to report back to the City Council with their recommendations on the 12th day of July, A.D.a 1965.
