1113 RES P&Z COMM HAS UNDERTAKEN PREPARATION OF COMPREHENSIVE REVISION OF ZONE ORD

RESOLUTION NO. 1113 , WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Paris, Texas, has undertaken the preparation of a comprehensive revision of the zoning ordinance of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, said Planning and Zoning Commission has made a study of the land use and zoning regulations as they exist and has stu- died existing conditions on the ground , and the Planning and Zoning Commission has reviewed and studied a proposed land use map and proposed zoning ordinance creating and dividing the City into certain districts, and has recommended that a public hearing be held to consider the results of their study and preliminary recommendations for a revised comprehensive zoning ordinance; and, WHEREAS, Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas provides that the City hold a hearing of the legislative body jointly with a hearing of the Planning and Zoning Commission on any proposed comprehensive zoning revision; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, AS FOLLOWS: That notice of public hearing concerning the proposed com- prehensive revision of the zoning ordinance of the City of Paris, Texas, be published establishing the date and place of hearing at 7:00 o'clock P. M., on the 26th day of February, 1965, in the District Court Room of the Court House, in the City of Paris, in Lamar County, Texas, and that the hearing be held jointly by the Planning and Zoning Commission and the City Council, in accord- ance with the provisions of Article lOllf, Revised Civil Statutes of the State of Texas, and that written notice be given to all owners of real property who have rendered their property for tax- ation as their names appear on the last approved tax roll.
