RESOLUTION NO. 1101 . <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has, for several years, <br />leased a portion of Culbertson Park9 which property is bounded on the North <br />by Neathery Street, bounded on the East by 17th 5treet, S. E., bounded on <br />the South by East Hearon Street, and bounded on the West by a fence running <br />due North and South from Neathery Street to East Hearon Street, which fence <br />is located on the West Side of the miniature goif course now existing on the <br />area involveds being the area now under fence on the ex.treme East portion of <br />Culbertson Park; and9 <br />WHEREAS, the lease between the City of Paris and Sam Skidmore ex.- <br />pires on the 31st day of October, 19649 and the said Sam Skidmore has re- <br />quested a lease of said property for the purpose of operating a miniature <br />golf course and possibly other concessions in the futures and to pay the City <br />of Paris ten per cent (10%) of the gross receipts taken in from the operation <br />of any concession thereon by him; and, <br />WHEREAS, he has requested a three year lease, beginning November 1, <br />1964s on said premises, and it is the opinion of the City Council that it is to <br />the advantage of the City of Paris to enter into such lease agreement; NOW, <br />THEREFORE9 <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS9 <br />That the City Manager of the City of Paris, H. C. Kennemer, be, and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to enter into a lease with Sam Skidmore, of <br />said premises, beginning November 1, 1964, and expiring October 319 19672 <br />said property to be used for the operation of a miniature golf course, and <br />Lessee to pay ten per cent (10%) of the gross receipts taken in from said <br />operation to the City of Paris. <br />Passed and adopted this 12th day of October, A.
