RESOLUTION NO. 1088 WHEREAS, the City of Paris, Texas, has heretofore advertised for and received bids on the llth day of May, 1964, on Pumping Equipment Station No. 1 and Pumping Equipment Station No. 2, being pumps in the lift stations, in connection with said project; and, WHEREAS, said bids were referred to the Engineering Department for tabulation and recommendation as to which bid was the lowest and best bid, and the Engineering Department of the City of Paris ha.s recommended that the bid of Pump & Power Engineering Company of Houston, Texas, is the lowest and best bid, and has recommended to the City Council that the contract be awarded to Pump & Power Engineering Company of Houston, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE QTY C(3UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That the bid of Pump & Power Engineering Company of Houston, Texas, be declared the lowest and best bid for said pumps, and that the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract in accordance with the bid of Pump & Power Engineering Company of Houston, Tex.as.
