RES OLU TION NO. 1014
<br />WHEREAS, the term of Jim Noble Thompson, as a member of the
<br />Tr affic Co mmis sion of the City of Paris, will expire on Augu st 1, 1962,
<br />and it will become necessary for the appointment of an additional member
<br />of the Traffic Commis sion; and,
<br />WHEREA5, Ben Taack has resigned from the Traffic Commission of
<br />the City of Paris, and there is now a va.cancy to fill the unexpired term of
<br />Be n Taa ck, whic h expires September 1, 1963; and,
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris, W. A. Cawthon, has
<br />appointed Paul Gene Roden and submitted his name to the City Council of
<br />the City of Paris, to be approved and confirmed, for a term of office of
<br />three (3) years, begi.nni.ng August 1, 1962; and,
<br />WHEREA5, the Ma.yor of the City of Pa.ris, W. A. Cawthon, has
<br />appointed J. C. Kelso and submitted his name to the City Council of the
<br />City of Pa,ris, to be approved and confirmed, to fill the unexpired term of
<br />Ben Taack, which expires September 1, 1963; NOW, THEREFQRE,
<br />BE IT RE50LVED BY THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />TEXAS, That the appo intme nt of Paul Gene Ro den, to serve as a member
<br />of the Traffic Commission of the City of Pa,ris, for a term of three (3)
<br />years, beginning August 1, 1962, be, and the same is he reby approved an d
<br />confirmed by the City Council of the City of Pa.ris, and that the appoi.ntment
<br />of J. C. Kelso, to serve as a member of the Traffic Commiasion of the
<br />City of Par is, fo r the unexpired portion of the term of Ben Taack, which
<br />expires September 1, 1963, be, and the same is hereby approved and con-
<br />firmed by the City Council of the City of Paris.
