RESOLUTION NO. 1000 a
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Paris has heretofore advertised for bids for a
<br />loader, to be used at the new Sanita.ry Land Fill; and,
<br />WHEREAS, Browning-Ferrie Machinery Company, of Dallas, Texas, has
<br />placed a net bid for one New IHC Model TD-15 Drott Loader, as per bid
<br />specifications of Ma.rch 12, 1962, equipped with atandard bucket, less trade-
<br />in, a net difference of $19, 995. 00; and,
<br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Council that said bid is
<br />the lowest and best bid and the most advanta,geous bid for the City of Paas;
<br />NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />TEXAS, Tha.t the City Manager, H. C. Kennemer, be, and he is hereby
<br />authorized to trade in one used AC HD-7 loader, and pay the difference of
<br />$19, 995. 00 for the loader bid by Browning-Ferris Machi.nery Company, to
<br />be paid as follows: In addition to the trade-in allowance, the sum of $3, 995. 00
<br />cash, upon delivery and accepta,nce of the above loader, and to execute condi-
<br />tional sales contract and note for the sum of $16, 000.00, payable as follows:
<br />$8, 000. 00, plus interest, due November 10, 1962, and $8, 000. 00, plus interest,
<br />due November 10, 1963, said note to bear interest at the rate of 5°fo from date
<br />of execution. That said sum of $19, 995. 00 be charged by the Gity Clerk to
<br />Budget Account No. 404-Z-4.
<br />Fassed and adopted this 15th day of Ma.rch, A. D. , 1962.
