RESOLUTION NO. 969 • <br />WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Paris Public Library, pur- <br />suant to Ordinance No. 1439, has made the following recommendations for <br />directors for the year beginning June 12, 1961 and continuing to June 12, <br />1962, or until their respective successors are appointed; and, <br />WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1439, it is necessary that such <br />recommendations be confirmed by the Council, which recommendations are <br />as follows: <br />That Henry Ayres of Paris, Texas, and Ben Marable of Paris, Texas, <br />be appointed for a term of one year, beginning June 12, 1961, or until their <br />successors are appointed. That they shall replace J. G. Cecil and J. O. <br />Atwell, whose terms of office have expired; NOW, THER.EFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVEI? BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARf,S, <br />That the appointments of Henry Ayres and Ben Marable of Paris, Texas, <br />be, and they are hereby confirmed. <br />F'assed and adopted this 12th day of June, A.
