• • RESOLUTION NO. 947 WHEREAS, many years ago, the T& P Addition to the City of Paris, on its plat, which was filed at the time of the creation of such Addition, designated in Block 4 of the T& P Addition to the City of Pa.ris, a certain alley beginning at the North Boundary Line of Sycamore Street a.nd extend- ing Noxth to the South Boundary Line of the right of way of the T& P Railroad, the width of which alley as dedicated was 20 feet; and, WHEREAS, said allcy has never been opened and has not been used as a right of ingress or egress by any of the property owners fronting on said alley; and, WHEREASs the same has many years ago been abandoned as an alley belonging to the City of Paris and has for some thirty years been occupied by buildings occupying much of the 20 foot alley, and such pro- perty has been closed and used by abutting property owners for many years; and, WHEREAS, the City has placed no utilities therein and has not used the same for any purposes; and, WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the City Council that the City has no further use for the same, and that the sams should be disposed of and sold; NOW„ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE (=Y COUNCZI., OF THE CITY OF PARJS, That the Mayor, William C. Ragan, be, and he is hereby authorized to execute a special warranty deed covering eaid alley, to the Pa.ria Gin, Inc., for a consideration of $10.00.
