a 0 <br />RESOLUTYON NO. 908 . <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pa.ris has for some years owned property <br />hereinafter described, and known as the Baseball Park; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City has no immediate usc for the same; and, <br />WHEREAS, it will take considerable money to repair, revert, and <br />maintain said park, which expense the City of Paris is not in a position <br />to as sume; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Boys Club of Paris, Znc. has proposed to lease said <br />property for a period of ten (10) years, with an option of a ten year renewal <br />at the expiration of the origina.l term, and to repair and keep the same in <br />good condition according to the terms of a lease this day tendered to the <br />City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCTL OF THE QTY OF PARIS, <br />That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />said lease to the Boys Club of Paris, Inc., for the term mentioned and <br />under the terms and conditions of said lease, covering the following de- <br />scribed property: <br />All tha.t certain tract of land located in Paris, Lamar County, <br />Texas, to-wit: BEGIlVNIIVG at a point 300 ft. West of the <br />intersection of the NB line of Hickory Avenue with the WB line <br />of Fitzhugh Avenue, also designated as 9th St., N. E., the same <br />being the SE corner of a twelve (12) acre tract of land sold <br />to the Lamar County Fair Association by H. E. Clement Esta.te <br />in 1936, described in deEd recorded in Vol. 245, page 575, <br />Lamar County Deed Records; <br />THENCE N. 600 ft. ; <br />THENCE W. 600 ft. ; <br />THENCE S. 600 ft. ; <br />THENCE E. 600 ft, to the point of beginning, being the same <br />property leased by the City of Paris to the Paris Baseball Club. <br />Passed and adopted this 14th day of March, A.
