0 , <br />RESOLUTION NO. 885. <br />WHEREAS, the water line, being a tvvo inch (211) water line, existing <br />from a fourteen inch (1411) water main in the center of Graham Street to the <br />South Boundary Line of West Shiloh Street, has become deteriorated; and, <br />WHEREAS, portions of 14th Street, N. W., from Graham Street to <br />West Booth Street, are in the process of being reworked; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is now necessary tha.t the two inch (211) existing water <br />line be replaced; and, <br />WHEREAS, a large portion of the area on 14th Street, N. W. , from <br />West Booth Street to West Shiloh Street, is now without fire protection; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF :PARIS, <br />That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to lay a six irLCh <br />(611) cast iron water line from the fourteen inch (1411) water line now iexist- <br />ing on Graham Street, along 14th Street, N. W. to the North Boundary Line <br />of West Booth Street, and to la.y a two inch (211) water line from the TTorth <br />Boundary Line of West Booth Street to the 5outh Boundary Line of We:st <br />Shiloh Street. That the line be laid by the City Forces, and that the costs <br />of la.ying the same be ta.ken from the Water Building Fund, by the Clerk of <br />the City of Paris, Texas, <br />Passed and adopted this 20th day of October, A.
