• • <br />~ <br />1 <br />RESCLUTION NC. 823 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has, for several years, <br />leased a portion of Culbertson Park, which property is bounded on the North by <br />Neathery Street, on the East by 17th Street, S. E., on the South by East Hearon <br />Street, and on the Vdest by a line running due North and South from said Neathery <br />Street to East Hearon Street, which line is located five feet West cf the most <br />westerly corner of the miniature train tracks of Sam Skidmore; and, <br />b9HEREAS, the lease between the City o: Paris and Sam Skidmore expires <br />on the 31st ciay of October, 1958, and the said Sam Skidmore has reauested a <br />lease of said property for the purposes of operating a miniature golf courset <br />and for permission to discontinue operation of the miniature train and other <br />rides in connection with his use of said premises, anc to pay the City oi Paris <br />ten per cent (10i:.) of the gross receipts taken in from the operation of said <br />miniature golf ccurse; and, <br />VdHEREAS, he has requested a three year lease, beginning November 1, <br />1958, on said premises, and it is the opinion of the Council that it is to the <br />advantage of the City of Paris to enter intc such lease agreement; NOW, <br />THE REFCRE , <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL GF THE CITY Cr PARIS, That the City <br />14anager of the City of Paris, Ptlbert K. Steinneimer, be, and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into a lease with Sam Skidmore, of said pre- <br />mises, becinning November 1, 1958, and expiring Octaber 31, 1961, said property <br />to be used for the operation of a miniature golf course, and Lessee to pay ten <br />per cent (10iC) of the gross receipts taken in from said operation. <br />Passed and adopted this 13th day of Cctober, A.
