N. ?Nalker, Jr. has heretofore made application to the Director of Public iNorks of the City Engineerts Office for a building permit to tear down and erect a building at the intersection of the North Boundary Line of Bonham Street and the West Boundary Line of 19th Street, N. 'dd., in the City of Paris; andg !NHT_Z?EASy upon the same property there hasg for many yearst existed building which was used for a iilling station andzor service station; and, WHERE.AS9 the present building located on said premises is in bad state of repair and in need of complete renovation and change; and$ UVIiFRF.ASq the rngineering Department of the City of Paris was unable to issue the permit rectuested by F. N. lhralker, Jr., because of the property having been non-conforming and a permit having been made to materially and structurall.y alter~ enlarge$ or rebuild said building, and the said F. N. ?"ltalker, Jr. appealed to the City Council oF the City of Paris for permission to reconstruct the proposed puilding and to permit the ncn-conforming use aforesaid, and he having furnished the City Council with the signatures of a17. persons oAning property µrithin two hundred feet of the above property, in tAihich they say that they have no objection to the reconstruction of such preperties, and the City Council, after due and proper hearing, is of the opinion that it will not render more hazardcus the area invclved, but, cn the other h.,nd, 1-vill be a beneiicial improvement of the particular area; 1VOtiV, TF-T71?T7'c1)RE 9 9E IT RES^L'lED BY THE rITv rnUNCIL OF THE CIT'Y' PARIS, That the City Council does hereby permit the censtruction of the proposed building, and the 'itv Engineer's ~'ffice is hereby authorized and directed to issue said appli- cant a building permit for the renovation and reconstruction oi the proposed building, and thp non-canforming Usegabove referred to, is hereby authorized an,i nermitted.
