IvlcCubbin have served two terms, four years on the City Council of the City of Paris; and, ~!HERi;aS, neither of them were eligible, under the .,harter of the City of Paris to seek re-election tc the office of Councilman of the City of raris, and are now retiring from service as a Councilman, and, '.?'H::REAS, it is the individual and collective judgment and opinion of the Cit;r Council and all of its memb2rs that the faith-Ful and distinauished services of our fellow-councilmen, Clark Estes, Jr. and J. c:icCubbin, for the two terms expiring iApril 9, A. D., 1958, have greatly inured to the benezit o-.L' this community and all oi its citizens; and, :'iHE'REAS, the• wise counsel, mature judgment and christian attitudes of both h^s. Estes and 1J'Ir. McCubbin, consistently evident and 6y them applied to all matters, problems and issues considered by thc Ccuncil during their tenure of ofiice, command the deep respect, adniiration anu appreciation o f the other mer?bers o t the Council viith whorn thay have served; and, v'JHEREAS, it is the sincere purpose and desire of the governing body oi the City oi Paris to express as adequately as words will permit tne ke-n admiration of each and all of us for the unselfish, distin- guished anca sacriiicial services of 14r.
