WHEAEAS$ the City Council of the City of Paris has heretofore advertised for bids to be received on ;J'iarch 10, 1958 for the air conditioning of the Paris Public Library on South frlain Street, in the City of Paris; dC1d, 'NHEREi;S, bids were received on thc lOth day of ,March, 1958 and were referred to a committee appointed by James R. Gill, Mayor of the City of Paris; and, WHEREtiS, said committee has met and examined each of the pids received on the lOth day of March, 1958; and, WHEREAS, the said committee has recommended to the City Council of the City cf Paris that the bid of C. & E. Refrigeration Company, a co-partnershi_p, composed of L. A. Chick and GGlen Lveretto which was in the amount of $2,665.00~ was the lowest and best bid; ~U1d, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED 3Y THE CITY CCUNCIL 0F THF- CITY OF PARIS, That the bid of C. & E. Refrigeration Companyg of Paris, Texast in the amount •f $29665.00, be, and the same is hereby declared to be the lowest and best bid for the air con- ditioning of the Paris Public Library, and the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed, upon the receipt of the proper performance bond and insurance re- quirements according to the plans and specifications, to enter into a contract for and on behalf of the City of Paris with C. & E. Refrigeration Company, of Paris, Texas, for the air conditioning of the Paris Public Library. Fassed and adopted this 2nd day of tipril, A. D., 1958.
