E. to the new elevated storage tank located on 25th Street, N. E., kno%m as Project No. 803-1-58; and, WHEREAS, tha City Council did, on -the 20th day of January, A. D., 1958, receive bids, some several in number, for the laying of said line, as required in the plans and specificaticns of the Ena,ineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton; and, ~iJHEREAS, said bids were, on January 20, 1958, referred to the Engineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton for its tabulation, inspection, and recorunendation; and, UVI-IEREAS, the Engineering rirm oi rorrest and Cotton did, on January 23$ 1958) by letter of said date, adtTise the City Council of the City of ?,aris tnat the lowest and best bidder tivas the Elm Fork Construction Company, Inc., ef Dallas, Texas; and, VJHEREAS, the rngineering Firm of Forrest and Cotton has iurnished to the City Council oi the City of ?aris adequate assurance that the bidder is solvent and capa'le of performing such contract; 10.11, THEREFURE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Cr THE CI7Y CF PARIS, That the bid o= the Elm rork Construction Company, Inc., being in the corrected a;,lount oF $133,779.30, be, and the same is hereby declared to be the lowest and best bid, and the City Llanager of the City of Faris, Albert K.
