• • <br />RE90LUfI0N NJ. <br />WHEAFAS, the City of Paris has heretofore employed far traffic <br />enforcement purposes three men, Bill Conley at Rosa Pearson School, <br />William Thrasher at East Paris School, and Rube Hutchings at Foarth <br />Ward School, in the capacity of assisting in the protection of schmol <br />children at certain iatersecti ons and crossings in and near the re- <br />spective schools; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Coupcil, oa the lOth day of June, 1957, by <br />0 rdinance No. 1407, made provision far the payment of their salaries in <br />the 1957-58 Budget, under Item 301 A-4; and, <br />WHEREAS, the aforesaid men are not employed as policeraen and <br />have not qualified under the various statutes with reference to the <br />qualifications of peace officers; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary that they be transferred to the Traffic <br />and Public Lightitag I7ivision of the Department of Pwblic Works; NOW, <br />THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVID BY THE CITY ODUATCIL OF THE CITY OF PAAIS, That <br />these men be transferred from the payroll of the Police Department, <br />under Item 301-4-4, and be transferred and employed under the Traffic <br />and Public Lighting Division of the Department of Public Works, under <br />Budget Item 408-A-4. <br />IT IS flIFtTHER RESO LVED that the remaining portion of the appro- <br />priation uader Item 301 A-4 itt said Budget be transferred and expesded <br />ander Item 408 A-4, the same being the appropxiation for Traffic and Public <br />Lighting under the Division of the Department of Public Works. <br />Passed and adopted this llth day of November, A.
