<br />and Clark Pstes, Jr., to consider leasing two tracts of lUnd,which are
<br />hereinafter d.cscribed, frc::, Leslye LeUiis Sanders; arni,
<br />~5'HFFt--HS, saici committee has rlade and has submitted a proposal t;o
<br />the .;ttorney-in-Fact, P:;ignon C. House, ror the owner of said properties,
<br />which proposal is as folloivs:

<br />Robert ;,IclVhirter and INle:nbers VJiliiara C. Ragan and Ciark Estes,
<br />Jr., met and considered the propositicn of leasing certain
<br />properties vrithin the City of Paris, from ;Aignon House acting
<br />as attorney-in-fact ior Leslye Leviis 5anders, a wiclow, of Los
<br />~;nyeies, I-aliiornia. The com,:littee proposes zo recom:;iend to
<br />the City Council of the City of Paris, the following proposal,
<br />i^~hen the sa,ne has been coniirmed by Mignon House as attorney-
<br />in-fact Tor Leslye Letivis Sanders, a widow, of Los i~ngeles,
<br />Calii=ornia. The property involved for the purposes of this
<br />proposal Urill be treated as Tract a and Tract B:
<br />"Tract A. Being a parcel of land ironting 123 feet
<br />on the N. B. Line of !'Jest Price Street and 119 feet
<br />on the E. B. Line of lsz Street, N. !^J.
<br />"Tract B. Being a parcel of land lying im;lecliately
<br />North of Tract A and adjoining Tract A, and front-
<br />ing 96 feet on the F. B. Line of lst Street, Tv.
<br />and having a depth of 140 feet.

<br />effective date of the Iease on Tract That the City pay a
<br />monthly rental on both Tracts and B, beginniny Qctober 1,
<br />1958, the surn of $150.03 per month, payable monthly in
<br />advance until the expiration date of the leases coveriny
<br />Tract .1 and Tract 3.
<br />"That the City be given an option to purchase both of
<br />said tracts at any tirr~after the effective date of the lease
<br />on Tract to the expiration date of the lease on both Tracts
<br />A and B, for tne consideration olo $15,000.00.
<br />"That no lease :noney rentuls, which are paid prior to
<br />tne exercise oi such option shall upply to the pLm c;zase prico,
<br />but ali of such rentals shuli be retained by t}ie Lessor.
<br />"That should the leases upon Tract ti and Tract B expire
<br />viithout the City naving exercised its option to purchuse the
<br />said tracts, then the City shali have ihe right to remove at
<br />its costs any improve::zents which ;nay have been placed thereon
<br />by the City.
