• RESOLUTION N0. XS-8 . • WHEREAS, the City of Paris has heretofore advertised for and re- ceived pids on one tractor with backhoe and frontend bucket loader; and, 4°lHEREIaS, there were received several bids for the furnishing of such material at 7:00 o'cleck P. M., on the 14th day of October, A. D., 1957; and, 'JJHEREAS, a committee was appointed to consider said bids and to deterr:,ine and recor,l:iend to the City Council the bid that was, in its opinion, the lowest and best bid; and, WHEREAS, said committee has reported to the City Council and has recommended the alternate bid of IAcCormick Farm Equipment Company of Par'is, Texas, for International h4ode1 No. 1-350 equipped with a Shativnee Warrior Backhoe, and for which its bid was in the net amount of $3,800.00, plus hydraulic power steering in an additional amount of $179.00, plus a 60" wide 5/8" bucket on frontend loader as a replace;nent for the 46" bucket, an additional exchange amount of $75.00, which made a total net low bid of $4,054.00; NOU'J, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL Oi- THE CITY OF PARIS, That thE~ bid of McCormicl: Farm Equipment Co.npany of Paris, Texas, in the total net: amount of $4,054.00 be, and the same is hereby accepted, and the City luSanager is hereby authorized and directed to complete the purchase of sai.d equip;nent.
