• • RESOLUTION N0. 740 WHEREAS, J. E. Guthrie, Thomas B. Steely, and Hay Fant, have resigned frmm the Traffic Carnmission •f the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS9 there are now three vacancies on said Traffic Cornnissi.an; and, WHEREAS, the majority of the remaining members of the Traffic Coarnission of the City of Paris has recom[nended the naunes of Covy Willi.ams, Ben Taack, and Jimmy Johnson to replace J. E. Guthrie, Thomas B. Steely, and Hay Fant on said Traffic Commissiora for a term of three (3) years, begi.nning September 1p 1957; and, WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris has appointed to the Traffic Commission Cuvy Williams, Ben Taack, and Jimmy Johnsan for a term of thiree (3) yearsg beginning September 1, 1957; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY QDUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, That such appointment as made by the Mayor of the City of Paris, which is in. accordance with the ordinance of the City of Paris, be, and the same is hereby approved. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that J. E. Guthrie, Thomas B. Steely, and Hay Fant be corornended for their term of long and faithful service on said Traffic Comfnission, and that a copy of this resolution be furnished to each of said former members af the Traffic Commission of the City of Paris.
