. • RESQLUTION N0. 694 ~ WHEREAS, the agreement dated May 25, 1953, between the City of Paris, Texas, a municipal corporation, and The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, with reference to the costs and rates for services for sewage disposal service, has expired; and, WHEREAS, it is desirable at this time to renew and extend such agreement for sewage disposal service; and, WHEREAS, the agreement between the City of Paris, a mUnicipal corporation, and The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas, for the costs and services for water service used in the various housing units operated by ?he Housing Authority of the City of Paris, has expired; and, WHEREAS, it is necessary to have such agreement between the City of Paris and The Housing Authority of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, the following contracts have been prepared and submitted to the City of Paris: (a) Agreement for sewage disposal service between the City of Paris, a municipal corporation, and The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas. (b) Agreement for water service between the City of Paris, a municipal corporation, and The Housing Authority of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, the proposed contracts have been examined by the City of Paris and have been found in proper form and desirable to the City of Paris; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, That the Mayor of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby authorized to enter into each of the aforesaid agreements and to furnish the necessary copies thereof to The Housing Authority of the City of Paris, Texas.
