, _ • • RESOLUTIOr1 NO. 5 93-. uVHiEf3EF.S, the firm of V~allace, l%alkerj Bywaters and Associates proposes to plat and develop Section 1 of Shady Oaks Addition to the City of Paris, being Blocks 4 and 5 and tne East half of Block 3 of such proposed addition; and, VdHEREAS, such proposed development involves the dedication of 16th Street S. UJ. and 17th Street S. +v;. from Sherman to Austin Street as public streets, and the building and construction of curbs, gutters and paved surfaces on said streetE~ toa,ether vrith the buildiny of curb and gutter on the North side of Sherman Street and the paving of said street along the South side of such proposed development~ together with the building and construction of certain specified and approved water and sewer lines for such public utility services to all, of said prc perties; and, IUHEREAS, such proposed developers have deposited with the City of Paris the sum of $5,071.60, being the estimated cost of the laying and building of the required water and sewer lines, and have also de- posited with said City the additionul sum of $7,500.00, beinc the es- timated cost of the required hard surfacinc, paving and curb and guttering for the streets bounded and within such proposed develoament and which said developers are and shall be required to build and pay for; and, UJHEREAS, such developers have petitioned the City of Paris to build and construct the reauired sanitary sewer lines and water lines in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor under contract with the City of Paris, to be paid for at the unit price agreed upon and hereina.fter specified and out of the proceeds of such sum of $5,071.60, :nentioned above; iVOW, Tf-EREFORE: BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI-IE CITY OF PARIS, That the City hlianager be, and he is hereby authorized to make and enter into a contract and agreement with such proposed developers wherein and vrhereby said City of Paris will lay, build) erect and construct the following water mains, sewer lines and miscellaneous installations at the following desirnated unit priceg to-wit: :(1) 710 feet of 6-inch water main C~ $2.50 per foot ,(2) 762 feet of 2-inch water line C $.80 per foot (3) 863 feet of 6-inch sewer line (01 to 6t cut) $1.00 per foot (4) 84 feet of 6-inch sewer line (lOt to 14ti cut) ~ $4.00 per foot (5) 2 drop sewer marholes @ $175.00 each , (6) 1 fire hydrant @ $350.00 each (7) 8 street signs ~ $11.00 each (8) 28 sewer taps, Lots 1 through 7, Block 5; Lots 1 through 142 Block 4; Lots 8 through 14, Block 31 4~ $15.00 each (9) 28 water taps for the same lots as noted above ~0 $10.00 each Be it further resolved by the City Council that such sum of $5,071.60 be by the City of Paris accepted and distributed among its respective work accounts in accordance witn the work to be performed under the hereinabove mentioned authorized contract with such proposed develooers, and the budreted amounts of and for such respective funds are hereby amended and increased to and in Gn amount equal to the amount thereof to be distributed to such respective funds and accounts.
