Ll • RESOLUTIGN N0. 590 WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council of the City of Paris that there is a necessity for the enlargement, extension and improvement of the present water system and sanitary sewer system of the City of Paris in order to provide and furnish adequate, additional and sufficient sanitary sewer and water lines for the protection of the inhabitants of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, it appears that the hereinafter described water and sewer pipe, fittings and connections, will be required for such improvement, enlargement and extensions; and, W'rEREAS, it further appears that the City of Paris is indebted to the Ross Machinery Company of Dallas, Texas in the amount of ~10,000.00, representing a balance owing on the original purchase price of and for a certain Barber- Green, $ ft. 6 in. trenching machine, heretofore purchased by said City from said company and delivered to and in present use by said City, such balance of ~10,000.00 con- stituting a valid and legal debt and obliTation of the City of Paris; and, WHEREAS, it is necessary that time warrants be issued by the City of Paris in payment of the bid and con- tract price of and for the hereinafter mentioned and de- scribed sanitary sewer and water pipe, fittings and connec- tions and in payment of such sum of ~p10,000.00 owing to said Ross Machinery Company of Ual]_as, Texas: T:OW, THERE- FORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUP;iCIL GF THE CITY GF PARIS: l.
