. . <br />U <br />~ = • <br />RESOLUTION N0. 534 . <br />WHEREAS, an election was held by the qualif ied voters of the City <br />of Paris on the 17th day of February, 1953, for the purpose of votir.g upon <br />the question, "Shall a Commission be chosen to frame a new charter?", and <br />for the ftzrther purpose of electing from the City-at-I,arge a Charter <br />Coimnisaion composed of fifteen (15) members, provided a majority of the <br />qualified vaters, voting on said question, shall have vated in the affirmative; <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, as required by law and as directed and provided by the <br />Charter and Ordinanoes of the City of Paris, such election was conductdd <br />and held at four(4) specifisd and designated polling places, that is, one <br />polling plaae in each of the four wards of said city; and, <br />yyHERFAg, sealed returns on said election by the eleation <br />officials of the four respective iroting boxes have been duly rade to the <br />Mayor and City Cauncil of the City of Paris, which returns show the follawing <br />results of said election, to-wit: <br />11aRD ONE (1) <br />On the Question: "Shall a CazEmissian be chosen to frame a new Charter?, <br />,32.1-_"No" 4otes <br />there were cast a total of votes, there_ being / <br />and "Yes" votes. <br />For membership on the <br />sQid 7lfard One, to-wit: <br />B.
