<br />_'IiE'tEr'~S, the V`ity of Paris has acq.~ired Cox "irfie:Ld
<br />frora the United Dtates Governiient for use as a municipa:L
<br />airport, and at the tirrie of the acquisition of such air:eield
<br />there i,.ere nutnerous buildings and structurea thereon wh:Lch
<br />were constructed for and formerly used by the U. S. ~trmy for
<br />training personnel thereof; and
<br />4_1EREr'LS, such buildings and structures are in delapidated
<br />condition and bad repair and it is not a;:vantageous to the
<br />City of Paris or economical to attempt to renovate or repair
<br />same sincd there is no present or foreseeable use Por tilem
<br />and said buiidings and structures do not produce any inaome
<br />or zevenue ; and
<br />S, it is to the advantage and best interest of the
<br />Uity of paris that such buildings and structures be torn down
<br />and the lumber, materials and other portions t'riereoP be sal-
<br />vaged and stored for future uses in imnroving Cox -irfield;
<br />not t:lerefore,
<br />BL IT RESOLVED BY T=:E CITY COUIvCIL OF Tii-E CZTY OF PARIS:
<br />l. That the folloiring buildings and structures at Cox
<br />.=,irfield be torn down and salvaged and that all lumber, ma-
<br />termals and other usable portions and parts tiiereof be stored;
<br />Buildings i:,'umbers 100, 101, 102, 103, 112, 113, 114,
<br />115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 121, 122, 123, 132, 133, 134,
<br />135, 136, 137, 140, 143, 144, 145, 181, 184, 185, 189, 142,
<br />183, 102, 152 and 153.
<br />2. That all of the luLiber, materials and other usable
<br />parts of such buildings be stored and used on otae. stauctures
<br />at Cox r,%irfield and in maying irnprovernents and addition,s ti_ereto,,
<br />passed by the ~,ity ~;ouncil oY the 1-ity of i'arisy lf,xa;;, in
<br />regular- ri.eeting this the 14th day of July, 1952.
