M. and 7;00 P. L'f., by thE qualified <br />voters of the City of Parisp Texa.s, for the purpose of electing <br />three councilmen at large, of the City of Paris for the ensuing <br />term of two years. <br />BE IT RESOLVID $Y T'rIE CITY C4UNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br />l. That an election be held by the qualified voters of the <br />City of Paris on the first Tuesday in April, 1951, same being the <br />3rd day of April.. 1951, between the hours of 8:00 A. M. and 7:00 <br />P. M., for the purpose of electing members of the City Council <br />of the City of Paris, as folloxs: <br />Three councilmen at large, <br />as provided in Section 16,, Article III and in accordance wi.th <br />Article IR, of the City Charter of the City of Paris adopted on <br />Ploveinber 21 1948, such councilmen at large to serve for the en- <br />suing two yeaxs. <br />2. That the polling place for said election shall be at <br />the Central Fire Station in the City of Paxis. <br />3. That the Judges and Clerks of the election shall be as <br />folloxs; <br />Mxs. Hugh Collins,Presidin; Judge <br />Mrs. J. M. Cross, Judge <br />Mrs. Gait.her Rodgers, Judge <br />Mrs. R. C. Bearden, Judge <br />Mrs. L. B. Killebrew, Judge <br />J. A. Lillard, Clerk <br />Edrs. E. H. Cornray, Clerk <br />Mrs. W. E. Deaient, Clerk <br />Mxs. R. C. Record, Clerk <br />4. The Mayor of the City of Paris is hereby instructed and <br />3irected to give notice of sa:i.d election by posting notice thereof <br />at the above mentioned place, auch notice to be posted not less <br />than 30 days b~for@ the date of said election, and by publishing <br />a si.milar notice in the Paris Nears, the official newspaper of the <br />City of Paris and a newspaper of genera3 circulation within said <br />city which said notice shall be published ior one time not Iater <br />than 30 days before the date of said election. <br />5.
