Section 2. That the City Council finds and determines that there is a public necessity in order to preserve and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Paris to construct the aforesaid project as currently proposed. Section 3. That the estimate of the total cost for said project is now at $ for engineering cost and $ for construction cost, for a total estimated cost of $ Section 4. That a public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of Paris in regular session convened on the 12th day of November, 2001, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in the Paris Junior College Applied Technology Building, Room 1016, at 2400 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas, at which time the matter of levying an assessment on benefitted property to defray a portion of the cost of the expansion of the sanitary sewer line extension for the Cope Addition, Suburban Estates Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas Drive, and Welch Circle, thence southerly to tie into the existing City collection system will be considered. Section 5. That any and all other resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby in all things repealed. Section 6. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
