Section 2. That the City Council finds and determines that there is a public necessity in <br />order to preserve and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of the City of Paris <br />to construct the aforesaid project as currently proposed. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the estimate of the total cost for said project is now at $ for <br />engineering cost and $ for construction cost, for a total estimated cost of <br />$ <br /> <br /> Section 4. That a public hearing be held by and before the City Council of the City of <br />Paris in regular session convened on the 12th day of November, 2001, at 6:00 o'clock p.m., in <br />the Paris Junior College Applied Technology Building, Room 1016, at 2400 Clarksville Street, <br />Paris, Texas, at which time the matter of levying an assessment on benefitted property to defray <br />a portion of the cost of the expansion of the sanitary sewer line extension for the Cope Addition, <br />Suburban Estates Addition, Golden Acre Addition, and certain tracts in the E. Crow Survey <br />along Meadowlark Street, Mockingbird Street, Cope Street, Pine Mill Road, Thomas Drive, and <br />Welch Circle, thence southerly to tie into the existing City collection system will be considered. <br /> <br /> Section 5. That any and all other resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby in all things <br />repealed. <br /> <br />Section 6. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 4th day of October, 2001. <br /> <br />Michael J.
