430 RES AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH PARIS RED PEPPERS

- • . • _ _ 7.-The Paris Red Peppers, Inc. shall receive the entire proceeds of all games played by their team on said premises, the proceeds of all advertising sold for display of ads on the fences of said baseball park, and the proceeds of all concessions. 8.-In addition to the rental above set out of $900.00 plus $10.00 for each night game, the City of Paris shall receive ten per cent (%10) of the gross gate re- ceipts, less federal tax, of all games pl.ayed in said baseball park in which The Paris Red Peppers do not play. 9.-The Paris Red Peppers, Inc. shall have charge of the said baseball park only during the training season, the regular pl.aying season and the play-off season, if any, and at all other times during the year the City of Paris shall have fLll and complete charge and contral of said baseball park. The Paris Red Peppers, Inc. will be all owed access to the baseball park at all reasonable and proper tinies to ready and maintain the grounds. 10.-The Paris Red Peppers, Inc. shall promptly surrender said baseball park to the City of Paris at the end of the plap-off season, if there by a play-off between The Paris Red Peppers and any other team of the League, and at the end of the regular playing season if there be no such play-ofY. The said baseball park shall be returned to the possession of the City of Paris clean and in as Cood condition as when possession is taken, reasonable wear and tear from proper usage anly being excepted. 11.-The said sum of $900.00 rental above mentioned shall be paid in ad4ance to The City of Paris at the time possession of said baseball park is taken for the trainin.g season by The Paris Red Feppers, Inc. Payment of the amounts due the City of Paris from playing of night games and/or percentage of gate receipts as hereinabove set out shall be Made monthly, the payment for each month to be made betvaeen the lst and lOth of the followin-c- month. 12.-The failure of The Paris Red Peppers, Inc. to fully comply with any of the above provisions shall ipso facto cancel and terminate any rental agreenent or contract made in pursuance of this resnlution, and the City of Paris, by or through its officers, servants, agents or employees, shall be authorized to ij$mediately enter upon and take possessior_ of said baseball park vritihout liariJ.ity to any person ny reasori of surh repossession.
