<br />Sealed proposals will be receiaed by the City of Paris at the office
<br />*f J. W. Barne s, Mayor, uartil 5:00 0' clock P.M. , Central Standard Time,
<br />March 21st, 1946, for the construction of a Swimming Pool, at which time
<br />and place the proposals will be publicly opened and read alaud.

<br />Copies of the plans, speciffcations and other proposed contract
<br />documents are on file in the office of J. W. Barnes, Mayor of the Citg
<br />of Paris, Texas, at the City Hall, Paris, Texas, and in the office of
<br />W. F. Hicks, Eng:i.neer., Paris, Texas., and are open for public inspection.
<br />Plans and specifications may be exam;ned without charge in the abave
<br />named offices and may be procured from W. F. Hicks upon a deposit of
<br />$15.00 as a guarantee of the safe return of the plans and specifications.
<br />Additional sets of plans and specifications ma.y be procured from the above
<br />upon a deposit of $15.00 each, as a guarantee of their safe return within
<br />ten (10) days from date of opening bids, in which event $$.00 of the
<br />deposit will be returned. ,
<br />The charactsr and ampunt of security to be furnished by each bidder
<br />are stated in the above mentioned docum~ents.
<br />' - No bid may be withdrawn, a,fter the scheduled closirig time for receipt
<br />of bids, for at least thirty (30) days.
<br />The City of Paris reserves the right to reject any or aIl bids and
<br />to waive informalities.
