ORDINANCE NO. 2001-060 <br /> <br />City Council Meeting <br />September 10, 2001 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY <br />OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 2-98 OF SAID CODE; <br />PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN EMERGENCY AND NON- <br />EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICE RATES; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; <br />AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, WAS PRESENTED. <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman Plata for adoption of the ordinance. The <br />motion was seconded by Councilman Carter and carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of and action on bids for <br />furnishing and delivery of Liquid Cationic Polyacrylamide Emulsion <br />(Flocculent) for use in the Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the following bids <br />were presented: <br /> <br />Fort Bend Services <br />Altivia <br /> <br />$1.15 per pound <br />$1.44 per pound <br /> <br />A motion was made by Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Councilman Bell, <br />to award the bids to Fort Bend Services in the amount orS1.15 per pound. The <br />motion carried 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br /> <br />City Manager Malone called for consideration of and action on bids for <br />furnishing and delivery of Liquid Sulfur Dioxide for use in the Wastewater <br />Treatment Plant, and the following bids were presented: <br /> <br />Brenntag Southwest <br />Harcros Chemicals <br />DPC Industries, Inc. <br /> <br />$400.00 per ton <br />$498.00"" <br />$575.00"" <br /> <br /> <br />
