Planning and Zoning Meeting <br />September 4, 2001 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />Jeina White, spoke in favor of the petition stating that she wants to <br />open a Day Care Center. She has 7 acres to build on as the City would <br />require. The property is located next to the new Fire Station. Ms. <br />White stated that she would build a 6 foot fence for security and safety <br />of the children. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the petition of Jeina White for a change <br />in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to an Agricultural District <br />With Specific Use Permit (25) Day Care Center, Lot 5, City Block 317, <br />being number 4065 Pine Mill Road. <br /> <br />Motion was made to approve by Marshall Kent and seconded by Louis <br />Yates. Motion carried by a vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />Public Hearing to consider and act on the recommendation of the <br />abandonment of a fifteen (15) foot alley in Block I of the Warren <br />Addition between Bonham Street (U.S. Hwy 82) and Maple Avenue <br />beginning at 17th Street NW east to the west boundary line of City Block <br />200. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning looked at petition to verify ownership of the <br />property. <br /> <br />There was no opposition, the public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />Consideration of and action on the recommendation on the <br />abandonment of a fifteen (15) foot alley in Block I of the Warren <br /> <br />Addition between Bonham Street (U.S. Hwy 82) and Maple Avenue <br />beginning at 17th Street NW east to the west boundary line of City Block <br />200. <br /> <br /> <br />
