• Rehabilitation of a burnt out apa�tment complex in Daingerfield, Texas and <br />rehabilitatian of muiti-family complexes in tinden, Texas, bringing construction <br />jobs to the communities, while etiminating hazardous and crime-ridden eyesores <br />of the communities <br />• Management of First Time homebuyer programs in 66 Texas counties and cities, <br />creating homeownership for thousands of low and moderate income first time <br />homebuyers <br />• Development of an investor acquisition strategy for a publicly held imp�rt/export <br />corporation in Dallas, Texas <br />• Management of infill and rehabilitation programs in Garland, Texas <br />• Grants management pertormance review for the City of Houston, Texas <br />• Davis-Bacon Labor monitoring for an office complex in Austin, Texas and for single <br />family new consrruction projects in Travis County, Texas <br />• Acquisition of 0% housing develapment planning loans for rural housing <br />development in Wise and Parker Counties, Texas <br />• Reinstitution of a free milk program for indigent children at a private school in <br />Nollywood, California <br />• Development of a mezzanine loan program for subdivision infrastructure in <br />Garland, Texas <br />• Design and implementation of an interim construction revolving loan fund for infill <br />housing co�struction in Garland, Texas <br />• Developing a single-family acquisition, rehabilitation and sale program for rural <br />communities in Parker and Wise Counties, Texas <br />• Many consulting and advisory services provided to governmental and non-profit <br />organizati�ns in fund acquisition, leveraging, program development, funds <br />layering, community involvement, problem resolution, strategic planning and cost <br />containment � <br />• Nan-proft/governmental management: Mr. Hunter has served as Executive <br />Director of the Garland Housing Finance Corporation and created Regionai <br />Qpportunities of Texas, Inc., a nonprofit community development organization <br />operating in North Central Texas. He has also served as Strategic Planning <br />Coordinator and Secretary of the Executive Cornmittee of the Texas Rura1 <br />Development Council. For that organization, he also served as the private sector <br />chairman of the rural resource team committee, the �ural housing committee, and <br />the barriers and impediments committee. <br />Whi1e with the City of Dallas, Mr. Hunter was a member of the Urban Management <br />Assistants of North Texas, the International Ombudsman Institute, and the Community <br />Associations Institute, where he served on the Board of Directors. While with the City of <br />Garland, he was a member of the National Community Development Association and was <br />president of Region VI of that organization which included the states of Texas, Arlcansas, <br />Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico and he served on the U.S. Department of Housing <br />and Urban Development National Paperwork Reduction Taskforce and served as <br />chairman of the financial and rniscellaneous workgroup of that body. While with First <br />5outhwest Company and Hunter & Hunter Consultants, Inc., Mr. Hunter rep�esented <br />those companies with the Texas Rural Development Council, the National Association of <br />Housing Finance Agencies and the Texas Association of Housing Finance Agencies, where <br />Mr. Hunter actively participated in annual conferences and training meetings. He served <br />on the HOME Program Advisory Task Force for the Texas Department of Housing and <br />Community Affairs. An accomplished public speaker, Mr. Hunter is often asked to <br />address organizations, professional associations, conferences and workgroups on a <br />variety of topics. <br />
