2.1 <br /> <br />2.2.3 <br /> <br />22.4 <br /> <br />2.3 <br /> <br />2.3.1 <br /> <br />2.3.2 <br /> <br />2 34 <br /> <br /> EXHIBIT B <br />SERVICES OF ENGINEER <br /> <br />General <br /> <br />The Project contemplated herein will consist of replacement of existing sanitary sewers <br />and storm drainage facilities, excluding existing culverts, using design flows developed <br />in tbe City's existing Drainage Master Plan, from the 2300 block of East Price, south <br />and east to just north of the 2600 block of Simpson, <br /> <br />ENGINEER shall provide for OWNER professional engineering services as hereinafter <br />provided. These services ~vill include providing professional engineering consultation <br />and advice and furnishing customary civil, structural, mechanical and electrical <br />engineering services, and customary architectural services incidental thereto. <br /> <br />preliminar~ Design Pha~e <br /> <br />Consult xvith OWNER to clarify and define OWNER'S requirements for the Project and <br />review available data. <br /> <br />,Advise OWNER as to the necessity of OWNER providing or obtaining from others, <br />data or services outside those of ENGINEER described herein, and assist OWNER in <br />obtaining same. <br /> <br />Identify and analyze requirements of governmental authorities having jurisdiction to <br />approve the design of the Project and participate in consultations with such authorities <br /> <br />Provide topographic type surveying necessary fbi' the design of the project <br /> <br />Final IDe~ign Pha~e, Dr~wlngn and ~peeifieatinn Pha~e <br /> <br />Prepare final drawings to show the general scope, extent and character of the work of <br />CONTRACTOR ("Drawings"), and Technical Specifications. <br /> <br />Provide technical data for OWNER'S use in obtaining approval of govermnental <br />authorities having jurisdiction to approve the design of' the Project, and assist OWNER <br />in consultations with said approval authority. <br /> <br />Advise OWNER of any adjustments to the latest opinion of probable Total Project <br />Costs. <br /> <br />Prepare for review and approval by OWNER, its legal counsel and other advisors, <br />contract agreement forms, general conditions, and supplementary conditions, and bid <br /> <br />6 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
