ORDINANCE N0. 88-035 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINAIVCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AIvD CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COI�IERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 43, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO KENNETH JAMES WOFFORD, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); AND DESIG�'ATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundarie� heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established on LOT 1, CITY BLOCK 43, on property belonging to KENNETH JAMES WOFFORD, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (�F), and that the boundaries uf said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby established as follows: Situated within the corporate ?imits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Being Lot l, City Block 43 and being mor� particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the South Boundary Line of Graham Street with the East Boundary Line of 4th Street N.W., said point being the Northwest corner of Lot l, City Block 43; Thence East along the South Boundary Line of Graham Street, a distance of 50 feet to the Northeast corner of said Lot 1; Thence South a distance of 146 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot l; Thence West a distance of 50 feet to a point in the East Boundary Line of 4th Street N.W., the Southwest corner of said Lot 1; Thence North along the East Boundary Line oi 4th Street N.W. a distance of 146 feet to the place of beginning. Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
